David’s Bridal has just updated their return & exchange policy for 2012. For full details and info on the latest changes, see the terms posted here on Davidsbridal.com.
What can you return?
If you buy direct from Davidbridal.com, the return policy is a lot better than buying at your local store. All non-customized online purchased orders can be returned up to two weeks from the time your order was shipped (except for any online outlet or last chance clearance sale purchases). Just make sure your return is in it’s original condition with all tags attached (must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and clean). To return your David’s Bridal purchase, just login to your davidsbridal.com account and obtain and RMA number before you ship it back.
What about in-store purchases?
Officially, they say you cannot return any items that you purchased at your local David’s Bridal store. However, we’ve heard that if your item is in unused and new condition, talking to the store manager can help you get a store exchange or store credit if you are lucky and the your return is only a few days after you bought it. See this thread on brides.com from a David’s Bridal employee who confirms this is a case by case return policy. Same comments from other girls on Yahoo! Answers.
Didn’t buy your dress at David’s Bridal?
No problem! These wedding gown preservation kits are universal for just about any dress. That’s why these kits make the perfect gifts for bridal showers and are one of their best selling products.
