Save up to $300 on the SONY Google Internet HDTV’s now on sale at Amazon! Details & specs posted at Sony.com.
Google is now jumping off of your computer and coming to your TV. Just earlier this year we saw the new Logitech Revue with Google TV and now the next device to incorporate Google TV is here – Now on the the new SONY Bravia HDTV with Google Internet TV (powered by an Intel processor). Now without any extra boxes or add-on accessories, you have the entire internet at your fingertips. Search live TV listings with reviews and instantly download hundreds of different Android apps all on a Full HD Edge LED backlight 1080p display. You can even update your Facebook status while viewing TV or tweeting while watching the game. And when you’re bored, either instantly stream YouTube, archived shows, or download a movie from Netflix.
When you are looking for the best deal or discount on the new SONY Bravia HDTV with Google TV, you can almost never beat the prices at Amazon. When it’s sold by Amazon, you almost always get free “white glove” home delivery and no sales tax (in almost all states). Now, if you live in California like me this already cuts the price by about $200. Add this on top of their sale prices and your new TV is usually even cheaper than the discounts at Costco or WalMart. Best of all, you don’t need any additional coupon codes or mail-in rebates to score a good price. Although we do recommend that you keep your eyes open for any Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2011 promotions.
Keep in mind that the coupons and promotions at Amazon do tend to change on a daily basis. So if you see a real good deal then don’t miss the opportunity by waiting for a good time to buy. But before you press the buy button, check out the prices also at Costco, Best Buy, and Fry’s Electronics. The model numbers you should be looking for are NSX-46GT1 for the 46-inch model (retails for $1399), the NSX-40GT1 for the 40-inch model (retails for $999), NSX-32GT1 for the 32-inch model (retails for $799), or NSX-24GT1 for the 24-inch model (retails for $599).
So what’s typically included in the box?
- The TV unit (weighting approximately 38 lbs/17Kg without pedestal).
- Remote Control (NSG-MR1).
- IR Blaster (x2).
- One standard HDMI cable.
- Instruction manual.
You can also find other 2011 coupons and rebates on Sony HDTV accessories at Amazon. This includes wireless routers, Android apps and remotes, and custom smart controllers. If you jump over to the Apple App store or Android App Store, you should also be able to find some other cool virtual controller for your iPad, iPhone, or wireless device.
If you’re looking for a complete review of the new Sony Google TV, we recommend you take a look at the review posted on engadget.com or wired.com. You can also search popular Google HDTV forums for other user reviews and the differences between the Logitech Revue and Apple TV, Roku HD XR player, and TiVo HD XL Digital Video Recorders if your not yet ready for a complete new TV system.
